For anyone who has limited time and wants to experience Madagascar’s treasures this is the tour for you!
Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from Johannesburg on your flight to Antananarivo in Madagascar. Upon arrival connect with your flight to Nosy Be. Transfer to the Les Boucaniers Hotel where you will be staying overnight. Enjoy dinner at one of the excellent local restaurants in the village.
Day 2: After breakfast transfer to the yacht and depart on your 3 night cruise of the islands. Snorkel, swim and relax on board as you hop between the islands.
Day 5: End your cruise around midday when the yacht drops you at Sakatia Lodge. For the next three nights and days you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the island.
Day 8: Transfer to Nosy Be for your flight to Diego Suez. On arrival in Diego transfer to Ankarana reserve for a two night guided trekking expedition. Explore the fascinating bat cave and visit the bizarre rock formations known as tsingy. Camp in a forest campsite and hear the lemur calls at night.
Day 10: Transfer from Ankarana to Natures Lodge near Mt Ambre reserve. Enjoy the sunset with magnificent vies over the Diego Bay.
Day 11: Travel to Mount Ambre reserve and enjoy a short walk in the rainforest to the three waterfalls. Spot lemurs, chameleons and a variety of birds along the way. Once you have completed the walk drive to Diego Suez for some souvenir shopping before checking in at the airport for your flight back to Nosy Be. On arrival in Nosy Be check into the Les Boucaniers Hotel and enjoy your last evening at a beachfront restaurant for dinner.
Day 12: Transfer to the airport for your flight to Antananarivo and then on to Johannesburg.
